It can be very drying and damaging Especially if it’s left on too long and/or with too high of a developer, and if you’re under a hooded dryer for an excessive amount of time, RUUUUUUN!!! Lightener is obviously made to lift and what that means, is it’s taking out the melanin inside the hair shaft breaking down protein peptides and creating weaker strands Basically, the authenticity of the hair😮‍💨 BUUUUUUT There are some things we can do to keep your gorgeous blonde healthy ✨LIMIT your heat styling and turn down the heat setting!!!! This is the quickest way to damage your blonde hair! Heat drives out moisture in the hair when your heat is set just over 300degrees and anything over 320 is melting those protein bonds and to top that anything over 415 you’re creating irreversible damage 😳 ✨ADD HYDRATION AND MOISTURE Hair masks weekly, leave-ins and ANYTHING that has a heat and UV protectants You also just dropped a chunk of 💰 on your blonde, get you some GOOD products! Not all products are created equally, your stylist can recommend shampoos and conditioners geared for what your hair specifically needs ✨DO NOT go to sleep with your hair pulled up and when it’s wet!
